I noticed some calculations seemed to be off when looking at my data spreadsheet, and realize that some numbers could be off due to a ‘margin of error’ in the equipment, so reran some of the tests to verify the results, and got the same numbers.
The results showed that when doubling the plates the amps [...]

Changed tubing to smaller liquid inlet and larger gas out let in an attempt to control direction of liquid flow, my check valve decided not to work, they wouldn’t open, I guess plastic air valves don’t like NAOH.
Anyway, the flow rate didn’t change stayed at 200ml/min, up’ d the Solution from 5tsp/L to 7 in [...]

This is the HFE cell I’ve settled on for my cars, I’m in the process of building it at this time, but thought I’d share the plans.
Its a Dry Cell, meaning its not immersed in the catalyst, has a smaller size, and seems to have eliminated the edge voltage leaking typical with plate cells. It [...]

Here is a HHO cell that is cheap to build if your handy with a drill and tappingg tools. Uses ss scrubbing pads.
SS Steel Wool HFE, 2″ dia x 5 1/4″ h , simple, small, and efficient.
Operational Details: 13.5 V, 15 amps, 195 watts

I was testing some older plate designs, and was checking 2 – 1 1/2″ x 4″ SS plates and checking spacing and amps again, sort of checking what happens when the flat plates are in a V configuration, when I noticed a curious effect.
The V didnt seem to care about the angle (45, 30, 60) [...]

I used my condiment cups as plates for this test of neutral plates.
the percent decrease is from the plate setup one line above, i.e. the +NN- is 53% of amps of the +N- plates.
The parallel plates use single cell for comparison, i.e. the +NN-NN+ is compared to +NN- setup amps.

Did a test with a small set of plates for spacing:
the plates were set up as +NNNN-
using 2 tsp soda ash in liter water
1st spacing was with wire ties, .050 inch, and got 3.5a draw
2nd spacing was with nylon screen, .010×2 layers (.020 in) got 3.7a draw
3rd spacing was 1 layer nylon screen, .010 inches, [...]

I did some experimenting last night using flat plates after watching a video about X plates.
Here’s what I did,
All tests used the same electrolyte/catalyst, a solution of 1/4tsp lye in 2 L of distilled water.
All tests used a 200ah 12v battery
#plates, plate size, elect conf, voltage reading, amp reading
2 – 2×4x.125 SS plates, +-, + to one, [...]
