Controlling the amps has many variables, the most effective is probably the catalyst, adjust the concentration to the amp range you are shooting for.
Try adding Neutral plates, one at a time, these also are claimed to reduce heat produced. Some claim they reduce output, some claim they increase output. Try it yourself and decide.
Pulse modulation (electronics device) claims to increase production and lower amperage, and heat. There are many types available to build and by from hobbyists.
Power supplies, some can limit the voltage and/or amperage. If your going to run from a battery, you’ll need an inverter too.

My testing has reveild that ,neg,nnn,+nnn,neg plates,2.5×9 inch in a rainfresh water filter Bottle to be great but even better is double,that means 18 plates ,and do not forget you need 2 negatives for every positive,i also have the water circulate freely ,no pump, into a 4 litre water bottle,bottom of cell is in and top is out,and with odinairy water+ baking soda,the air flow while driving,cools it with perfection,Happy driving.Joliette Qc, canada.
